Instagram: ICYMI: Direct Shares aka Sends are the metric most being prioritized by the IG algorithm right now

Facebook: Big change in ad conversion attribution

Instagram: Now rolling out: Reel Overlay ads

Facebook: You can now automatically share reels as stories for pages

Instagram: You can now add up to 20 different audio tracks to a reel and you can now edit a reel even after posting

Threads: Small improvements to the pinch to merge images – if you haven’t played with this yet I encourage you to think about how you can use this creatively in your Threads image uploading

Other Platforms

TikTok: You’ve been able to download video clips without a watermark since early this year, but now in order to do that you have to have posted the video to TikTok first

YouTube: Updated eraser for audio can now remove copyrighted audio without affecting other audio in the video

LinkedIn: Changes to how top demographics for views is shown in analytics inckuding based on unique views instead impressions

Reddit: New- Lead Gen Ads
