Platform Updates

Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger/WhatsApp, Threads)

Facebook is deprecating certain sections of the Groups API, specifically the feature that allows third-party apps to post to Groups.

Instagram now offers additional methods for creating your own stickers.

WhatsApp is rolling out new text formatting options

Fediverse (Bluesky, Mastodon etc)

Bluesky no longer requires an invite to join the platform

Threads: Now rolling out to all users- saved posts
